The Restaurant
Our restaurant prides itself on serving home-made dishes using quality ingredients from our own shops. Our menu includes fabulous home-made deep filled pies, an impressive looking Farthingloe ploughmans, substantial roast dinners, a very tasty seasonal vegetarian tart and doorstop sandwiches. Our popular cooked breakfast menu using our own sausages and other quality ingredients is available daily until 11.45am.
We also have to mention our fabulous home-made cakes. We have old favourites such as coffee and walnut, stem ginger and Victoria sandwich and regularly have impressive speciality cakes such as a decadent chocolate and orange cake, a multi layered mocha cake and a fruit packed carrot cake. Choosing is the hard part!
The Café
For those in a hurry or those who require takeaway our café sells great coffee and other hot and cold drinks, our quality Farthingloe burger and Farthingloe bacon and melted cheese roll, hot soup and filled rolls. All served in takeaway cardboard packaging. A selection of the bakery’s cakes and pastries are available daily to enjoy with a drink.
We also stock the amazing Marshfield ice cream. Flavours include blackcurrants in clotted cream, salted caramel, honey and stem ginger and chocoholics heaven. Well worth a try ... it's fabulous!
